Security

I want to let everyone know that if you are using email accounts such as gmail, yahoo, live, etc...
Please have a very secure password, recently an employee was a victim and had his email hijacked in which someone used it for spam attacks, fraud and plan old mischievous endeavors. A lot of people were affected by this and it has been a nightmare trying to explain to people what happened and that we do not have a bank account in Nigeria and we do not need any dates. By the way these hijackers, spammers or whatever you call them use personal ads in order to gather more and more emails. People who answer and use personal ads are some of the easiest targets to gather personal information. Also telephone numbers were given out in order to look authentic and obviously it worked because a lot of people fell victim to this crime. Through all of this we have learned a lot about security, fraud on eBay alone is a billion dollar business. One of the easiest targets is craigslist. It is community controlled and a ton of fraud goes on there. The safest way to protect your account is to use symbols along with letters and numbers. Some sights do not allow the use of symbols, so a good mix of letters and numbers would be suggested. Another tip on protecting your accounts is to change up passwords ever so often. The next post will be back to the car business, we just wanted to take a chance to let everyone know that an event like this can turn into a huge mess.
If you get a chance please visit http://www.thegallerydenver.com/ to view our entire selection of vehicles.

Introduction

The Motorsports Gallery has decided to create a blog for our customers, fans and future customers to keep up with what we do day to day here at The Motorsports Gallery. Now keep in mind that we are not professional writers, I can barely speak proper english (grew up in Kentucky) which will come up from time to time especially during football season. The attempt here is to let people who do not work in the auto industry in on how to or not too run a dealership. There are alot of funny charcters that come in and out of here as well as work here. Visit www.thegallerydenver.com to view our inventory and a little bit of what we are all about. In the immortal words of Simpdaddy "Have a goodun"
